Job Summary: The Market Data Steward will own master data quality for Philips Middle East & Turkey for both Philips businesses – Health System and Personal Health. The market data steward drives direct impact on data quality, with less process disruption due to poor data and actionable insight by enforcing the governance around data for his market: data rules, data access, data management standard ways of working.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The jobholder manages operational relationship with EIM: Business Information Owners, data services and Analytics; monitors EIM SLA’s for the market.
Executes self or manages locally (directly or functionally) business related data activities with EIM data services, Analytics, quality, based on SLA’s as SPOC to EIM;
Responsible to identify, create network and mobilize local data specialists across businesses, districts & functions including functional leads and secure capacity for various data activities for deployment related data activities. Escalation via local E2E PM (End2end Project Manager).
Reviews, validates, provide feedback to improve business and data rules applicable for his/her market towards EIM BIOs, data quality and BPO/BPEs
Ensures compliance to those rules by the data owners, by driving change, informing, training, coaching and sharing status reports, up to market leadership level e.g. Data Quality, integrity, availability, completeness, consistency, privacy and compliance to those rules by the data owners.
Accountable to cleanse the data for His/her market with the support of local data specialists, and validation of functional leads, in close cooperation with EIM (DFEs during program deployment and EIM SME ops in continuous improvement) and drive a continuous PDCA cycle on data quality. Able to drive Data migration activities and able to visualize/report the risk to business of existing data quality levels.
Accountable for functional target source mapping validation during sessions with data specialists and IT BA and EIM DFEs and BIEs
Accountable to review and validate the Data Requirement Specifications, freezing the scope on system, data objects, acknowledging and providing feedback on data rules to fine-tune them (relevancy, cleansing (legacy – target), migration) on behalf of his/her market
Accountable for reviewing the pre-load validation reports during sessions set-up by DFEs/DMEs and improving the data when defect allocated to business, by reaching-out to relevant local data specialist and functional leads
Accountable to sign-off data as part of the data qualification process during the mock-runs and at move to production and to drive improvement actions on market side towards timely resolution, as per defect management process
Responsible to review and confirm local names and roles to access systems and be part of approval workflow for MDM process after go-live; Accountable to review and sign-off the SLA with EIM data services.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor or Master degree, with the preference in IT field, in a technical Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering discipline, IT & Econometrics
Previous data or information management experience (healthcare and consumer products an advantage): e.g. controlling, sales, marketing management, health systems, business excellence with proven track record on factual decision making, using analytics and standard process management
Proven experience in mining data to garner meaningful and actionable insights, familiarity with various templates (MQ3, etc.), expertise in managing large quantities of data and writing SQL on various databases
Knowledge & experience with one or more business cloud tools, such as SAP, Salesforce.com, Foresight, JDA, Tableau, ClickView etc. and enterprise systems, e.g. CRM, SFA, ERP etc.
Knowledge and experience in data migration with a range of Business Intelligence tools, including Database systems and Extract, Transform and Loading (ETLs) tools
Proven experience with large scale projects/programs, responsibility for data profiling, data quality analysis, data standardization, data cleansing, data management and data management rules development, business data migration scope and data quality sign-offs
Demonstrate experience with at least one Data Quality Toolset and Metadata Management, Affinity with data quality methodologies and approaches
Previous experience working with companies such as Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, CapGemini, Infosys is an advantage
