Job Summary:  The Visa Services Assistant will process visas for Arabian Adventures clients with a view to provide an efficient, timely and effective service to our Principals such as Tour Operators/Travel Agents/Emirates offices worldwide.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

Office Based:

  • The incumbent will analyze the visa application requests and update the Reservations System accurately in order to process the visa forms according to the preset time schedule.
  • On receiving visas from the Immigration Department, to update files and distribute them to the concerned Senior Tours Consultants.
  • Follow up with Immigration for those visas not received in time in order that (correct) visas are received prior to clients' arrival. To take up the role of Rep-Visa Services in his absence so that any visa applications requiring liaising with Immigration are attended to.
  • To immediately bring to the attention of the Tours Officer any visas held up at Immigration.
  • Coordinate with all airlines and provide timely boarding authority for all clients for whom visas have been approved in order that clients are not inconvenienced at the time of checking on for their flight to Dubai.
  • To reconfirm the return / onward flights for all clients as well as delivery of all messaging transmitted to various suppliers, the previous day, and bring any discrepancies / issues immediately to the Tours Officers' attention.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The Visa Services Assistant should have one year of Airport Operations
  • 12 Years schooling or equivalent
  • Experience in the travel industry dealing with customers and suppliers / government bodies.
  • Possess basic knowledge in MS Word/Excel applications.
  • Knowledge of destination and products of Arabian Adventures will be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to deal with various levels and nationalities of people.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency in Arabic preferred.
  • Knowledge of Computerized Reservation Systems would be an advantage.
