Job Summary: The Technology Integrator supports the local Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) - Middle East (ME) portfolio execution and reporting. Based in Dubai, the position reports to the Director of BR&T-ME. The position requires frequent interface with BR&T USA, International BR&T centers and other Boeing organizations. Two main areas of responsibility are identified:

Technology integrator for the BR&T-ME portfolio. The activities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Establish and maintain Execution Plan
  • Promote activities into Focus Program and compile Core/Focus activities
  • Compile all Statement of Work, support preparation of the Business Process Review and help establish and maintain the Scorecard items
  • Send weekly, and monthly reports. Prepare accomplishments lists
  • Manage the Gate Reviews

Support to program management of several projects in the UAE:

  • Advanced manufacturing collaborative R&D
  • Advanced Training collaborative R&D
  • Data Analytics collaborative R&D


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the delivery of upward reporting of BR&T- ME research execution, including 5-15 reports, quarterly accomplishments, Business Progress Review (BPR) preparation and Boeing International Scorecard reporting.
  • Provides oversight and technical assistance to ensure cost, delivery and schedule compliance; collecting and analyzing partner progress data.
  • Internal interfaces will include Business Unit and Boeing International representatives in our Middle East offices, BR&T- International Centers, BR&T- Global Technology leadership in the US and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) supporting development of technology relationships.
  • As a key BR&T-ME local representative to these organizations, development of strong working relationships will be required in order to assure timely progress of planned collaborative initiatives. Key to the successful execution of the strategies will be establishing relationships with aerospace and non-traditional technology and engineering organizations. This includes taking on the role of smart sensor which means that the individual will need to develop a thorough understanding of the engineering and technology needs of the Boeing enterprise and of the capabilities of Middle East industry and government laboratories and facilities. The position will also develop and maintain a network across the Boeing Enterprise to support technology engagements and to present the most current information concerning Boeing to stakeholders.
  • The jobholder will also work with leaders in Boeing Business Units, BR&T, Boeing International and other organizations who engage in the ME region to understand their objectives and provide technology support to help them successfully achieve these objectives.
  • This position supports the development and implementation of the BR&T-ME technology strategy which underpins the broader Boeing Middle East strategy and requires teaming, partnering and working with key program partners and customers supporting a range of business development activities across the enterprise.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Boeing Technology Integrator UAE job role should hold a technical degree, advanced degree preferred with exposure to a wide range engineering and technology areas. An advanced degree in business and/or finance is desired
  • A high level of business and or project management experience and skills (e.g. Post-graduate business qualifications and significant relevant experience)
  • Previous experience commensurate with that typically gained over 3 years in an industrial and research and development environment
  • Requires demonstrated technology partnering experience and capability; ability to understand and communicate with technical experts over a wide range of technologies and engineering disciplines; has sensitive to the unique requirements of working in a Middle East culture; ideally with experience working in the Middle East
  • Prior exposure and experience in developing comprehensive Integrated technology projects that could lead to production/commercialization
  • Fluent Arabic and English languages. Only university degrees from universities that have proper accreditation in the country of issue/or well recognized international organization will be considered as valid.
