Job Summary: The Client Engagement Manager will lead a team of Burberry Private Clients Consultants across the ME market by acting as a role model, coaching and developing the individual needs of each team member in order to create excellence and consistency.  Proactively develop the client base at a regional market level through collaboration with the Store Managers, Marketing & Events and regional Directors in order to grow the Burberry Private Clients business.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Development:

  • Keenly track progress and drive results with Burberry Private Clients team and store manager on a monthly basis
  • Equip, coach, and motivate the team to deliver the sales targets for the region
  • Deliver Burberry Private Clients initiatives to the team and roll-out as directed by the Head of Region
  • Ensure Consultants are adhering to associated policies and consistently delivering the ‘Burberry Experience’ to clients
  • Be proactively involved in the recruitment of Burberry Private Clients Consultants by partnering with Store Managers and Regional Directors, reviewing CV’s and interviewing to support the growth of the Consultants

Client and Business Development

  • Identify methods of generating new business in stores and increasing VIC sales and respond proactively to any opportunities identified by Store Managers/Burberry Private Clients Consultants
  • Proactively network to develop new business opportunities within the region t e.g. Corporations, Concierge groups etc
  • Build local relationships with hotels and other businesses offering exclusive services to their guests/clients to recruit new (V)VICs
  • Partner with Store managers to produce a development plan for Burberry Private Clients, e.g. event and strategy planning, strategic positioning, calendar sharing, budget proposals
  • Proactively work with Marketing & Events to generate new business opportunities, partnerships and host events accordingly

Lead By Example: Be able to personally serve some of the flagship VVICs, therefore demonstrating high level of sales and service skills in order to lead by example and expect the same level from the team

Reporting/Feedback

  • Keenly monitor regional performance with the Regional Directors/HoR/Store Managers by reviewing and communicating progress and evaluating results against the ME annual plan
  • Use Customer Insight data to measure the effectiveness of Burberry Private Clients programmes and provide feedback to the Head of Region and the Corporate team
  • Partner with Store Managers to review weekly customer reports and identify opportunities
  • Monitor and report on regional events and networking and evaluate effectiveness of strategy and approach
  • Share best practices by communicating regularly with Burberry Private Clients Global team

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the UAE job should have significant experience of managing and coaching remote teams
  • Previous experience in networking and building relationships across a range of levels and VIC bases
  • Good track record in setting business performance targets and driving for results
  • Past experience in the luxury goods sector or in dealing with high net worth individuals
