Job Summary: The Assistant Superintendent (Fleet Operations LNG) will plan, develop and implement fleet operational annual and long term budget focusing on cost control measure activities based on current and historical analysis and trends.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
To ensure safety of vessel at port and safe cargo operation in terminal and ensure vessel at all times compatible with terminal requirement and smooth operation.
To manage and control the fleet expenses including running costs through effective monitoring analysis and review of the relevant monthly reports to ensure financial targets are met.
To manage and coordinate the effort towards attaining high quality in Maritime Safety Operations, ISM and ISPS code implementation and Safe Navigation.
To implement all the measures, procedures and guidelines aimed at asset maintenance in line with company policies.
To ensure vessels are operated and maintained to meet latest regulations set by local and international maritime authorities to comply with all the mandatory, statutory/classification requirements to enable vessels to trade worldwide.
To coordinate and implement onboard crew development training needs through shipboard management aimed at enhancing the competency, skills and knowledge of the sea personnel to ensure the smooth operation of vessels.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 2 (Steam) or Bachelor in Marine Engineering/Naval Architect.
At least two to three years of shipboard/fleet operations/fleet management experience may apply for the vacancy with the world's second largest shipping conglomerate based in South East Asia
Vessel size 130,000 cbm to 150,000 cbm.
Preferably candidate with age of 50 years and below.
