Reporting to the Director Operations Support, and managing the Operations Support Administrators, the Consultant HR Manager will be responsible for the consultant on boarding and induction and re-hiring processes, and for the day to day co-ordination of consultant HR issues. Working closely with the Director Ops Support, Senior Manager HR and Senior Legal Counsel, the main duties and responsibilities are as follows;
Act as the single point of contact for Regional Management Teams for all consultant terms of service issues including changes and amendments to terms of service, promotions and demobilisations.
Responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing revision of all relevant consultant HR policies and procedures.
Responsible for the ongoing review and updating of all GardaWorld and Aegis consultant contract templates including liaison with the Senior Legal Counsel for Legal input and approval.
Following completion of the recruitment process (Decision to hire given by the Region and handover being received from the Consultant Recruitment Manager), responsible for management, oversight and audit of the offer and contracting process carried out by the Operations Support Administrator (Contracts).
Responsible for management, oversight and audit of the vetting, onboarding and induction processes through the management of the Operations Support Administrator (Vetting) and the Operations Support Administrator (Induction).
Periodic review of service provision by the vetting and screening agency to ensure cost effectiveness.
Primary point of contact for HR related questions and inquiries from regions, projects and contracted consultants and managing these issues with support of Director Operations Support, Senior Manager HR and Senior Legal counsel as appropriate.
Primary point of contact for the Regional Management Teams in cases of consultant grievance, disciplinary, poor performance and compassionate cases, escalating to Director Operations Support for management and decision on complex cases.
Responsible for the co-ordination of Third Country National recruitment, mobilization and HR management.
Monitoring and reporting of all HR related statistics to Director Operations Support and the Regional Management Teams as required.
Responsibility for the maintenance, management and oversight of consultant HR data on Egnyte and Salesforce including all report generation from Salesforce in support of the HR audit function.
Co-ordination with the GardaWorld IT team to resolve any issues with Egnyte and Salesforce or to recommend and implement any system improvement measures.
Management and implementation of the process for rehiring previously stood-down consultants at the request of Projects / Regions.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree with qualification in HR desirable.
CIPD recruitment and selection certified desirable.
At least three years’ experience managing consultant or employee relations issues, such as disciplinary, grievance, compassionate cases etc.
Previous experience working with ex-military personnel desirable.
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
Experience with administering an Applicant Tracking System (SAP, PageUp, Taleo).
Experience with bulk recruitment and selection processes.
Ability to manage time effectively and keeps to schedules.
