Job Summary: The Travel Clerks/ Administration Coordinators should have Defence Force experience to join our team based in Dubai, UAE in early 2018.  These roles will initially be offered as 12 month fixed term unaccompanied contracts - relocation and allowances will be provided. The purpose of these positions will be to assist the Australian Commonwealth Defence Force with managing, coordinating and administrating the movements of the Australian Defence Force personnel internally at Al Minhad Airbase, as well as externally (in-country relocations and scheduled leave)


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The Travel Coordinators / Travel Clerks should have Current Negative Vet 1 Clearance or Baseline Clearance (preferred)
  • Australian citizenship, to be eligible for Baseline or NV1 security clearance
  • Current valid Australian Drivers Licence (in order to obtain UAE driving licence)
  • Previous travel booking / coordination experience
  • Strong administration skills in a fast paced environment
  • Previous experience working in a base operations environment
  • Excellent organisational, time management and communication (both verbal and oral) skills and have the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks.
  • Exceptional candidates will be professional presented, customer service orientated, approachable and possess sound computer literacy.


NB: You must be available to commence a contract in the Middle East early 2018.
