Job Summary: The Overland Transport / KN Expo & Events logistics Coordinator will implement and grow the expo & events logistics general regular shipments. The jobholder will facilitate the communication with vendors, subcontractors, and other BU, as well as internal and external customers for pricing executing and invoicing all F&E shipments
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Making quotations for customers as well as other KN offices on the base of subcontractor’s charges
Communicating with customers to providing them solutions for handling their F&E shipments whether internally or externally.
Communicating with KN stations to provide them with expo & events freight solutions
Booking shipments with transporters for road freight and with KN operators for F&E.
Dealing with transport rates, insurance and schedules
Dealing with the DWTC exhibition organizers and with their authorized logistics agents
Tasked with arranging the delivery of expo shipments from airport to DWTC as well as port to DWTC
Doing the arrangement for return shipment to re-export them after exhibition.
Making calculations by weight, volume and cost
Prepare quotations and invoices
Communicating with transporters and clients by emails and verbally.
Be accurate and pay attention to details.
Handling the most potential customer from O&G
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Overland Transport / KN Expo & Events logistics Coordinator should hold a college degree
Two years experience in Overland
General knowledge in freight operations is preferred
Excellent command of English
He/She is focused, organized, methodical and pro active
