Job Description

Job Title:  Education Intern

Job Summary: The Education Intern will support the Education Team with tasks related to the development and launch of a new regional education strategy. Tasks will include data entry, proposal writing, research and assistance with programme development.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Primary responsibility is to assist the Education Team with tasks related to:

  • Mapping of various youth engagement initiatives (local and global) through online research
  • Identifying relevant contacts and developing background profiles on programme models
  • Reviewing and analyzing feedback
  • Compiling summarized research material into an easy-to-digest format
  • Organizing workshops and events
  • Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team to create communications around the Education projects
  • Assisting in programme development on the topic of Biodiversity
  • Provide administrative support to the Education team
  • Coordination with other WWF offices

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The applicant must relevant qualification
  • Passion for conservation and environmental issues
  • Strong communication skills (confidence in speaking on the phone to corporate partners)
  • Excellent research skills and ability to share information in an organized way
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Event organization experience
  • Previous experience with program design and development
  • Design skills (preferred)
  • A mature, creative individual who can work with minimal supervision and is resourceful and reliable
  • Pleasant disposition with good interpersonal skills, hardworking, innovative team-player and committed
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Adaptable, flexible, able to take initiative and prioritize among competing demands
