Job Description

Job Title:  Senior Executive Finance - Cash

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To reconcile Group Cash Book and Bank Statements in order to ensure that all entries are correct and bank statements reflects the true position.
  • Prepare accurate daily bank position reporting and reconciling of unidentified entries in bank statements and corresponding entries in the system.
  • Group finance governance structure - namely control, reporting and value creation.
  • Produce and distribute Daily Cash Position report.
  • Complete Daily Bank Reconcile in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Complete month end Bank Reconciliation in line with Month End Close procedure.
  • Prepare all month end closing schedules for Cash Management.
  • Prepare Cash Management KPIs for weekly review and month end operations presentation.
  • Notify Accounts Receivables and relevant departments on any direct deposit, transfers and charges in the bank.
  • Prepare the necessary accounting entries in the cash book.
  • Identification and application of all transfers to be carried out by Cash Management, in line with the relevant KPIs.
  • Notify Accounts Receivables of returned Cheques for their follow up and necessary action, and notify Accounts Payable on unclaimed Cheques of more than six months old and maintain up to date control document.
  • Complete daily Cash Collection report, investigation and resolving any issues.
  • Complete monthly analysis and resolution of past due PDC and quarterly PDC reconciliation against bank PDC list.
  • Perform adhoc duties assigned by the management.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least two to three years’ experience in Finance handling cash and bank reconciliations.
  • Interpersonal, communication, numerical, analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to liaise effectively with colleagues and department.
  • SAP knowledge is must.
  • Previous experience on YARDI software will be preferred
