Job Summary: The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for assessing and implementing HR activities for. He/ she advises on individual development plans and programs, and provides specialized career development support for employees and managers at both local and regional entities.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Support

  • Operate as an internal consultant to the sub-verticals in the implementation of HR processes in the areas of
  • Career management
  • Manpower Budgeting
  • Performance Management
  • Employee relations
  • Talent retention
  • Employee motivation

Career Planning:

  • Guide, advice, and support employees through analyzing their interests, strengths, skills and areas of development
  • Meet Business Unit managers and review performance appraisals and promotion history for employees
  • Meeting regularly with the Key Talents, EGPS, ERDPs, GCC national to review their development plan
  • Challenge and encourage employees to act to prepare for and initiate role transitions by obtaining experiences and acquiring skills needed to make role transitions.
  • Partner with HR departments to ensure consistency on philosophies and alignment with business goals
  • Support implementation of the HR processes, report design and development
  • Support a strategic, proactive HR approach through effective communication, meaningful leadership development and a sharp focus on employee engagement

Strategic Training:

  • Analyze the requirements for learning and development activities
  • Identify the training needs and a budget utilization for the business. Divide the training between CRA and L&D training program
  • Follow up on training needs based on performance appraisals and talent identification process.

Surveys: Assist in developing action plans to improve the results of the Employee Climate surveys

New Group HR Initiatives:

  • Implement new initiatives
  • Liaise with management, regional HR and operational managers to identify, develop and implement strategic organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Follow up closely on the implementation of the initiatives to ensure the success of all new projects

Financials: Ensure the manpower and training budget are development and updated as per the business requirements.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a University Degree in HR, Business or any related field
  • Three to four years of HR Operations experience at the managerial level
