Our client is an Islamic Bank based in Sharjah who are looking to strengthen their IT Support team further with an experienced 1st-2nd line Support Engineer. They are looking for a well rounded IT professional who will ideally have experience of desktop / help desk support, troubleshooting, hardware and basic software knowledge, with a desire to increase their technical experience in these functions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Build long term relationships with IT users in the business
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across the UAE offices
Look after basic hardware issues, troubleshooting simple PC problems, system / wireless problems and basic software problems or issues
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject
One to two years of IT exposure
Able to work independently with limited daily Managerial input
Someone who wishes to develop their career within the IT arena
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
