Job Summary: The AOW Training Manager will contribute actively to the success of MasterCard by taking responsibility for managing effectively all operational components of its e-Learning platform: Academy on the Web. This includes the update and upgrade of the existing eLearning modules, the development of new Live Events, and the ongoing enrichment of the offering in the Resource Center, in close partnership with the training managers and internal stakeholders customers.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development and implementation, and ensure the maintenance of AOW, including course content, interactive elements, online quizzes, and evaluations.
  • In partnership with the Training Manager, support the creation of learning solutions that align with customer expectations and learning needs analysis
  • Integrate online learning modules into Learning Management System (Adobe Learning Management System)
  • Partner with business/technical/vendor team(s) and other external resources (adobe, technical writer, etc) to ensure that specific solutions are implemented effectively
  • Act as point of contact for all live events and follow-up with internal staff to ensure that trainers and learning material are adequately prepared, ensure confirmation of Live Event topic ownership and engagement by subject matter experts
  • Integrate existing learning material that can be leveraged further following recommendations of the Training Manager
  • Align all action plans with the Live Events schedule
  • Manage each step of the design, development delivery of the Live Events
  • Prepare, format and consistency review of training material prior to each live event
  • Ensure smooth and effective operations of the Learning Management System (Adobe)
  • Management of all Billing activities in SBF for the activities performed by MasterCard Academy (including face to face seminars)
  • Other tasks and duties may be added and/or evolve due to the nature of the business.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, education, communications, marketing, or related field
  • Experience in instructional technologies including rapid e-learning authoring tools (specifically Articulate or Captivate), graphics, and publishing content to learning management system
  • Technology/systems orientation – ability to operate the AOW platform independently
  • Good knowledge of the MasterCard environment (technical, business and organizational)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills as well as a service-oriented philosophy
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with SMEs across all levels of the organization to assess needs, and offer creative and engaging training solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, balance multiple tasks, build project plans, and execute project tasks on schedule. Ability to handle a wide variety of administrative duties, including project management tasks
