Job Summary: The Quantity Surveyor will be providing support across a range of projects during both pre and post contract stages. They will be actively supported with a structured training plan to progress towards APC accreditation in a timely manner.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Completing measurement exercises using Cost X measurement software in both 2 and 3D.
Preparing estimates at all pre contract stages under supervision of a senior QS.
Assist in preparation of tender analysis.
Ability to integrate with key members of the design team and Client team.
Assist in evaluating claims.
Assist in preparation of financial updates and monthly cost reports.
Assist in preparing estimates for variation orders for Subcontractors / GC Contractors.
Assist in evaluation and negotiation of final accounts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying preferably from a university offering RICS accreditation
At least three years’ post graduate experience.
Experience in residential, retail, schools, hospitals or office buildings preferred.
Communication and formal English language skills are considered essential.
High level of literacy skills in English.
Working knowledge of industry practices

Ability to act with discretion and safeguarding confidentiality of project data.
Astute financial management and control of project resources.
Computer Literate, with specific experience in Cost Management software programs
