Job Title:  Admin - Legal & Compliance (Temporary Jobs)

Job Summary: The Admin - Legal & Compliance will assist the Legal and Compliance department for the completion of all contracts with customers within Middle East and to support compliance related activities (e.g. monitoring, reconciliation)

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and regularly update the Customer overview database and contract status for all customers in Middle East.
  • Supporting the Head of Legal in customizing the contracts using contract templates with necessary commercial information in close collaboration with other teams (business units, finance..)
  • Follow up with various internal approvals (Finance, Credit management, Customer Service, General Manager, Area CFO and APL).
  • Upon conclusion of contract negotiations, create a contract request in the Contract Management System for contract approval and execution; follow up with approvers for timely approvals.
  • Follow up with Distributors and other third parties for return of signed contract copies and coordinate for archival of fully signed copies on Contract Management System.
  • Prepare the reports on the contract status and escalate slow moving contracts.
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls with Alcon colleagues, customers and third parties for contract negotiation if needed.
  • Coordinate with outside counsels for outsourced contract work.
  • Support Anti Bribery Due Diligence process regarding the distributors.
  • Assisting Head of Legal in approving and following-up all legal documents needed by the distributors (e.g. confirmation letters).
  • Support compliance related activities e.g. monitoring, reconciliation

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in law or business.
  • Preferably a candidate with minimum of 6 months working experience as intern/paralegal or full-time employee for contract management in a multinational company/law firm.
