Job Description

Job Title:  QA / QC Coordinator

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review of material submittals and method statements
  • Witness Testing
  • Providing Commentary on progress of work in terms of time and quality.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The successful candidate should be a degree qualified Engineer, with a minimum of 5-15 years experience, from a consulting/construction environment and has a working knowledge of the following;
    • Ability to write and perform audits of Contractor’s and Operational Centre
    • Accredited Lead Auditor to ISO9001:2015
    • Experience running a QMS in an Operational Centre
    • Review of Designers Quality Plans
    • Audit of quality processes undertaken by design team
    • Good communication skills
    • Good report writing skills
  • You will have experience carrying out reviews of:
    • Contractor’s Quality Plan
    • Contractor’s Inspection and Test Plans
    • Review of inspection records for compliance with Quality Plan and testing plans
    • Performance of audits of contractor’s quality documentation
    • Issuance of NCR’s, Deficiency Correction reporting and close out
    • Chairing of QA/QC meetings where outstanding NCR’s audit results and deficiency correction are discussed with Contractor, PMC and Employers Representative
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills required. Arabic speaking would be desirable. Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems requirements essential.
