Job Summary: The Education Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily coordination of activities related to stationary, collaterals, office supplies, maintenance and implementing the day to day administrative tasks such as communication systems, stationary and office supplies, collaterals, special projects etc
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative and Clerical Tasks
Provide courtesy services to visitors/guests
Ensure proper usage of common areas such as meeting rooms
Assist in preparation of correspondence, reports, and other complex documents
Resolve complaints regarding inoperative equipment and/or site related issues
Ensure that all communication channels are fully functional at all times
Maintain integrity and accuracy of databases
Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed by the department
Source quotations and secure approval after negotiations with supplier(s)
Proactively place order with supplier for routine purchase i.e. consumables
Follow up with supplier until satisfactory delivery of product and/or service
Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts
Other: Additional tasks and responsibilities based on each department’s need.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should preferably have relevant skills, qualifications and experience
Very good in Excel (outlook, excel, word & PowerPoint)
