Job Summary: The Head of Operations - Advertising – AMEA will be responsible for managing our Ad Operations set up across the AMEA region for 20+ markets. This role will see you manage and oversee the entire adops department which covers all tasks relating to campaign management, technical support, and yield management. A core focus will be to ensure the professionalism of advertising is continuously improving within the business, acting as communication liaison between advertising and engineering/products teams to provide feedback on improvements to our ad systems and client offerings. This includes providing direction to Engineering assisting with maintenance, repairs and the integration of new ad technologies or site changes. The incumbent will be ensuring productivity and efficiency levels are maintained across to a very high level of service, whilst taking ownership of all operational processes and workflows between sales and ad operations. Monthly revenue reporting for senior management will also be a key responsibility, ensuring a high level of accuracy at a granular level for invoicing and forecasting purposes. The jobholder will also be driving incremental revenue across our multiple programmatic demand sources including Google and various other global partner via the yield management team. A clear understanding of the programmatic ecosystem is essential. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the ad operations team ensuring productivity/efficiency levels are maintained to a high level of service whilst proactively identifying ways to streamline work flows and maximize revenue yields across our portfolio of clients and platforms.
Oversee and implement all processes for ad trafficking, campaign set-up, creative checking, optimizations and reporting for any AMEA digital advertising campaign, ensuring all legal regulations are enforced across the department (this includes actively managing our site rules and competitor block list).
Serving as primary escalation contact during troubleshooting and trafficking phase for both sales and adops team, providing in-depth support for any tech related request, some include; creative management queries, rich media execution and troubleshooting 3rd party reporting discrepancies.
Technical lead for advertising department for all internal stakeholders when assisting with any maintenance, repairs and developments to the site, confirming any change has been quality checked before going live.
Accurately reporting Revenue up for all channels / all regions at month end to Finance in timely manner
Build and maintain a strong relationship with Doubleclick specialists, staying abreast on the latest Doubleclick trafficking solutions and certification processes of new products.
Stay up to date on emerging advertising technologies and initiatives through research and participation in industry groups.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Six years+ experience in ad operations
4 years+ in management position.
Deep understanding on the digital advertising landscape, include programmatic, mobile/app, native & Video.
Strong knowledge and understanding of 3rd party ad servers (DFP ideal), Salesforce.com, AdX and any other real-time bidding/ad exchange.
Exceptional spreadsheet and organizational skills with the ability to maintain accuracy and meet tight deadlines in high volume periods.
