Job Summary: The Security Coordinator - Fraud Prevention will collage, record, analyse, assist in investigating, alerting and reporting all cases whereby the Airline may suffer and suffers losses from the usage of Fraudulent Tickets and Credit Cards by passengers, staff and agents at emirates locations network wide.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Recording, Apprising the Security Officer Fraud Prevention on fraud alerts/incidents on tickets and credit cards and filing the respective information
  • Prepare and maintain ticket and credit card fraud data base in order to ensure correct storage and retrieval on passenger data.
  • Prepare, fraud alerts for network stations so that the Security Officer (FP) can disseminate these timely in order to create better fraud awareness.
  • Provide technical and admin. support to Security Officer Fraud Prevention while recording, collating, analysing and reporting ticket and credit card fraud.
  • Accesses Reservations/Check-in system/RAPID/ARINC and other Data Systems required to monitor the usage of fraudulent tickets.
  • Conduct surveillance activities, as per directions received from Security Officer (FP) and submit regular reports in order to help ensure that corrective action is taken in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain up-date record of all cases and regularly follow up so that corrective action is taken in time.
  • The job holder will be required to independently undertake the less complex investigations and provide a report with recommendations to the Security Officer (FP) for approval and corrective action.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 12 Years schooling or equivalent
  • At least three years of security experience
  • Practical experience of Airline Operations, reservations, Ticketing & Office procedures
  • Ability to use PC, DCS, Airline Reservation System
  • Fares/Ticketing/Reservations & Airport Handling qualified
  • Knowledge of IATA procedures
  • Fraud Detection aptitude
  • Investigative aptitude
  • Report writing ability
