Job Summary: The Middle East and Africa Graduate Recruitment and Programme Manager will partner with the regional resourcing partners and business stakeholders to deliver the graduate recruitment strategy for cross business and specific product analyst programmes.  The jobholder will be responsible for defining graduate programme requirements including managing end-to-end recruitment delivery and programme management.

The job holder will also design and deliver business specific and cross franchise campus attraction campaigns. The Resourcing Team is the specialist function within HR supporting the business hiring needs across Citi. The EMEA Graduate Recruitment team directly supports Citi businesses in the attraction, selection and programme management of graduate analyst hires.  The Middle East and Africa graduate programme manager will focus on building and developing a junior talent pipeline, in compliance with local central banks hiring regulations.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

Relationship Management

  • Work with the Middle East and Africa HR partners and key business stakeholders to agree the graduate hiring strategy including national hiring requirements
  • Develop and manage relationships with business stakeholders to ensure the graduate hiring strategy is embedded in the overall business and regulatory environment agendas
  • Update key business stakeholders and HR colleagues on recruitment processes and candidate pipelines
  • Partner with colleagues across EMEA to share best practices & ensure consistency in recruitment

Campus Attraction

  • Partner with the EMEA campus recruitment team on designing and executing an effective regional campus attraction strategy including social media campaigns
  • Organise and attend promotional activities and marketing events on campus
  • Coordinate key business stakeholders to represent Citi at marketing events & corporate presentations

Recruitment

  • Work closely with recruitment delivery partners to ensure business recruitment needs are continually met Ensure the provision of a fair and objective process to a diverse audience
  • Engage and train business managers to get support with the graduate recruiting process
  • Utilise the most appropriate forms of assessment within selection processes with support from the EMEA graduate recruitment team

Programme Management

  • Manage local cross-business graduate programmes as well as all regional product programmes for the cluster which include the Middle East Africa (MEA) Analyst programme and UEA national hiring graduate programme
  • Partner with HR colleagues and respective businesses and to agree product specific programme management strategy aligned to business priorities
  • Agree and manage rotation placements in line with business need -organising logistics for moves to regional and global assignments where appropriate
  • Coordinate the programme rotation assessment process
  • Support the placement process of graduates completing rotation programmes to permanent roles
  • Support the set up and coordination of onboarding week, partnering with learning and development team

Additional

  • Support graduate training programme logistics
  • Develop summer internship programmes which will serve as a source for the recruitment of the Analyst classes
  • Oversee local internship hiring

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant should preferably hold a degree-level qualification but not mandatory if balanced by relevant experience
  • Knowledge of MEA region recruitment market practices
  • Experience of designing and delivering campus attraction campaigns
  • Knowledge of financial services and knowledge of complex business models would be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of related HR practice an advantage
