Job Summary: The Mechanical Rotating Specialist – PMC will acquire goods and services at the lowest possible total end user cost to WorleyParsons and its Clients considering safety, price, service, quality and delivery.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of equipment data sheets
Preparation of specification
Preparation of requisitions
Technical evaluation of vendor bids and evaluation report
Vendor document review
Coordination with other disciplines
Preparation of other technical reports as required by the project
Pressure vessel code calculations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a B.Sc. in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent and 15 to 20 years’ experience with 10 years minimum experience in oil & gas production &processing, petrochemical, and other hydrocarbon related projects.
Rotating equipment for Oil & Gas environment
For site based positions previous construction
Experience on Brown Field area is mandatory.
Gulf experience is preferable.
PMC experience and Onshore Upstream projects
Must have executed similar projects for FEED & detailed engineering with an engineering contractor/consultant organisation. Proficiency in handling EPC Contractors for similiar projects is mandatory.
He shall have proven ability in to check the work of EPC Contractor.
Participation with real contribution during performance of optimisation studies is anticipated by owner for this position.
Familiarity with Operating & Control philosophy as well as various control systems & subsystems to be employed is essential.
In addition, familiarity with equipment packages as well as co-ordination experience is mandatory.
He shall have handled EPC Contractor and developed their deliverables.
