Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The Baker Hughes CNC Programmer must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The CNC Programmer will create efficient and error free CNC programs in ISO/ Mazatrol/Fanuc platform. Ability to read, write and fully understand machine G code
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints & Engineering Drawings
  • Experience in vericut or similar applications
  • Experience in NX CAM/ Master CAM
  • Hands on Experience on CNC turning centers, Multi axis Machining centers (VMC).
  • Experience in Tool planning, process planning, Cycle time estimation, best cutting tools selection
  • Provide required documents for machine set-up(set-up sheet, visual drawings, etc.).
  • Transfer/Receive programs to shop DNC station
  • Experience in creating CNC programs up to 5 axis machines
  • Design fixtures/ tooling and provide drawings when necessary.
  • Assist Operators in troubleshooting problems on shop floor.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills.
