Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Baker Hughes CNC Programmer must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
The CNC Programmer will create efficient and error free CNC programs in ISO/ Mazatrol/Fanuc platform. Ability to read, write and fully understand machine G code
Ability to read and interpret blueprints & Engineering Drawings
Experience in vericut or similar applications
Experience in NX CAM/ Master CAM
Hands on Experience on CNC turning centers, Multi axis Machining centers (VMC).
Experience in Tool planning, process planning, Cycle time estimation, best cutting tools selection
Provide required documents for machine set-up(set-up sheet, visual drawings, etc.).
Transfer/Receive programs to shop DNC station
Experience in creating CNC programs up to 5 axis machines
Design fixtures/ tooling and provide drawings when necessary.
Assist Operators in troubleshooting problems on shop floor.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills.
