Job Summary: The Product Analyst will be to understand customer needs, translate them into requirements and work with engineering to implement them. You and your team will make sure that Western Union web platform is evolving consistently across product areas, and provide leadership to all product groups on how to develop our product suite’s web platform to deliver the best user experience to our customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with other product groups, marketing, regional business teams, customer support teams to understand customer expectations and design effective solution to exceed them.
Bridge the technical and business worlds as you design services that our users love
Obsessively seek to understand the customer’s perspective, data-driven with a proactive attitude and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
Create sprint roadmap based on corporate roadmap. Do research and write user stories aligned with the sprint roadmap.
Lead a SCRUM team of Engineers, Designers, and Content writer as a Product Owner
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Content, Marketing, and Sales/BD to bring products to market
Experience with agile development processes and frequent product release cycles.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Product Analyst must hold a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
Two years of experience as a Product Analyst for a software product (B2B or B2C - cloud experience a plus)
Experience developing web or mobile consumer products and technologies
Product management or product design experience
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly-structured, deadline-driven environment
Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
Previous experience in web and mobile analytics
Experience in web and web marketing
Experience in global money movement/payment products desirable
Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment
