Job Summary: The Electronic Technician II (ET-II) will maintain and repair electronics such as military and commercial off the shelf transmitter/receiver radios, Digital Voice Recording Systems (DVRS), communications switches and networks. Principal accountabilities: These individuals shall demonstrate the ability to apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems (i.e., those that cannot be solved solely by properly interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents) in working on electronic equipment. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments, usually less complex than those used by the ET-III Technician. They will also provide troubleshooting, training and technical support to information technology systems and equipment.
