Key Duties and Responsibilities:
To ensure a consistent BIM approach company-wide that adheres to BIM standards.
To ensure that the BIM modelling process within company is in line with client requirements.
To ensure that the final BIM product is suitable for construction.
Provide leadership and vision to the firm in the area of BIM
Evaluate and grade BIM modelling staff on a yearly basis
Provide training and supervision for in-house BIM users
Review BIM coordination and BIM based drawings.
Managing BIM staff and coordinating with other departments for smooth workflow.
Prepare, review & implement in-house BIM standards & ensure the modelling team follow these standards.
Review drawings in production to ensure BIM standards are being followed.
Supply technical support for all BIM software.
Conduct interviews when necessary for new staff members to determine modelling ability and make recommendations on new staff hiring.
Work closely with BIM sub-contractors and advise and review sub contract documents.
Attending Client meetings related to BIM requirements.
Review new versions of current BIM software and review new BIM software and make recommendations to senior management where newer software can increase production or provide a better drawing service.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The BIM Manager (MEP) should have significant experience
