Job Summary: The applicants will join the Armaguard Valuables Team as a RoadCrew. As Road Crew , you will add immediate value by driving a motor vehicle i.e. light vehicle, bus, armored vehicle, heavy equipment and other utility vehicles to support operations in accordance with all safety, security and traffic regulations. This role will unlock opportunities for you, enabling you to further develop your expertise within a progressive culture where a huge emphasis is placed on investing in the best talent.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Policies and procedures: Follow all relevant policies, processes and procedure so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Follows detailed rules or instructions in order to complete defined and largely repetitive activities with priorities given and defined by the Supervisor
  • Safety, Quality & Environment: Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
  • Thinking scope and complexity: Problems and situations are similar to previous ones and the right answer can usually be found by referring to a few similar and previous situations
  • Executes all trips according to schedules, plans and assigned routes in order to meet on time performance.
  • Carries out daily inspection of the vehicle to maintain trouble free operation. Report any faults or malfunctions of vehicles to supervisor to ensure immediate repairs are undertaken
  • Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of vehicles on a regular basis
  • Ensure safe transportation, collection and delivery of various items, i.e. documents, spare parts, tools, cash and other valuables, etc.
  • Maintains up to date all the required personal documentation to carry out the job, i.e. license, passes, etc.
  • Completes necessary reports and records
  • Strictly follows set standards and procedures and reports on any potential problems and issues
  • Ensures compliance with all customer service, safety and quality standards
  • Performs other adhoc support activities as required

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a High School Certificate
  • Two years of work experience
  • Communication Skills - Basic
  • Computer skills - Basic
  • English Language skills - Basic
