Job Summary: The Consumer Insights CPG Leader, AP&P is a pivotal senior role responsible for the Consumer Insight Research across our Global 9 clients. One of the accounts is A multi-Million Dollar Account for Nielsen . But you will be expected to service the remaining 8 clients as well. You will be responsible for managing the growth and development of 5 Direct reports. A key objective for this role is to grow the revenue of the largest account. You will be the go to contact for contract renewals and senior pitches. This is a perfect senior role for proven CI expert who has some previous management experience. You will have the respect from the business to own this division and act autonomously whilst having the support of the Nielsen family behind you! A high visibility role that is sure to highlight your skills for future progression opportunities.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the trusted advisor to key our Global client decision makers
  • Lead integrated analyses that enable clients to take action against strategic business goals
  • Drive strategic client engagement leveraging all Nielsen assets applicable to client goals, including market, industry and sales knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with other Nielsen teams to further develop existing tools and identify revenue opportunities outside of contracted services
  • Pro-actively participate in and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardization and process simplification
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for delivering against client commitments
  • Instill a growth culture within your team; hold accountability for your team’s sales goals

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus                         
  • Ten years of relevant work experience
  • Good track record in market research & project management
  • Proven experience at successfully meeting sales revenue targets
  • Highly proficient & polished communicator, including group presentations & proposal writing to senior level audiences
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the FMCG industry
  • Demonstrated strength in maintaining positive client relationships in complex situations, resolving client issues and consultative selling
  • Intermediate financial & contractual acumen
  • Proven experience managing and developing reports
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
  • Demonstrable record of delivering results for clients on time with accuracy
  • Proven Analytical ability
  • Relevant experience with statistics, research techniques & experimental design
  • Related industries include: Consumer Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics
