Job Summary: The Data Analyst Intern will provide recommendations based on high quality data analysis and strong understanding of our industry in order to meet the objectives set by our advertisers, and we focus on delivering improvements that will have immediate and measurable impacts. We get to play with exciting technologies such as Hadoop, Vertica, Tableau and R/Python to grow the portfolio of analyses that we offer to internal and external stakeholders.
We are always excited to take initiatives and enjoy the process of starting from an idea, then carrying out a complex data analysis, developing the results with the sales team and presenting it with them to our clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Use your knowledge of our data delivering and reporting systems to develop reports and metrics that will present actionable insights to teams across the business.
Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of how to best structure the analysis
The Criteo Data Analyst Intern will translate business and product needs into precise analytical requirements.
Ensure consistently strong quality of service and help to automate low added value tasks and free up some time for higher added value ones.
Support and Collaborate
The Criteo Data Analyst Intern will actively contribute to elevating the knowledge level within the team by pro-actively sharing technical / analytical knowledge and spreading best practices
Develop a strong network across other Operations teams and Analytics teams
Support the Account managers and new business teams to be considered as experts through industry relevant insights, and improve our ability to feed analyses with insightful external data points (think outside the box).
Raise awareness of Analytics within your market, internally and externally: participation to all hands, business insights, PR / Marketing analysis, internal trainings.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Criteo Data Analyst Intern must hold a Degree in Computer Science or technology related degree (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Economics, Finance, etc.)
Native/Fluent English both spoken and written.
Arabic proficiency will be nice to have
Knowledge in programming language: either R, or Python or VBA, etc. and statistical analysis tools is a plus
Excellent analytical skills, strong intellectual curiosity and ability to structure and solve difficult problems with minimal supervision.
You are versatile, curious dynamic and with a “can do” attitude.
You have a real interest in online Advertising market and the impact of a high-performance technology in this market.
