Job Summary: The Commercial Controller – Manager will report to the Senior Revenue Manager. You will support and control Destination Management sales team, through enforcement of pricing guidelines and principles, Product management, Monitoring, Analysis and reporting of results vs. targets. The Dubai Parks and Resorts Commercial Controller – Manager will proactively and cost effectively maximize all opportunities to increase the revenues of the theme parks through planning, forecasting, analysis, pricing, and yield management
Strong business partnering will be required, collaborating with the Destination Management (DM) Sales and other cross functional teams like Marketing, e-commerce, Finance and IT across DM, Individual Parks and Lapita
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, Implement and maintain pricing rules and guidelines across B2B and other channels
- Develop and manage sale contracts; align on partner structured commission mechanism to drive performance
- Manage B2B Products and channels; Draft IOM, execution briefs, support product setup, ensure accuracy and channel availability and maintain the products in the system and catalogues
- Assist with analysis in the development of the B2B admissions pricing, including headline, discounts, seasonal structure, package structure and channel strategy
- Collaborate with the Sales team to monitor B2B performance and distribute daily/weekly and quarterly reporting
- Measure and report results on product/channel owner KPIs against the targets. Identify gaps and drive actions
- Proactivity develop and enhance existing tools to allow greater visibility to the business for decision making
- Liaise with Sales and Finance teams to facilitate the preparation of the Sales yearly budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Maintain the pricing, promotion and seasonality calendar
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- At least four years of professional working experience in Theme Park industry, FMCG or mass retail
- Previous role in Sales Finance or Trade Spend
- Highly proficient in Excel (VBA knowledge is a plus
- Experience with BI Tools
- Pricing and Trade Spend analysis experience
