The Finance Department manages all the financial aspects of Expo2020. The department functions include planning, organizing, auditing, accounting for and controlling finances, as well as reporting and producing financial statements.
Job Summary: The Accounts Payables Accountant will receive the invoices and correctly allocate them to the right track for the approval and payment process; and process the different payment types to the supplier at the end of payment cycle.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare the invoices for booking, make Primary Checks according to Accounts Payable Check list and referring to the budget control to get the booking codes;
Ensure that all payments transfers are approved and processed;
Allocate the payments for the authorized signatories as per the DOA and Upload the payments to the Bank’s website;
Tasked with preparing the payment reconciliation and Update the Invoice’s Register by the invoice status as paid;
Respond proactively to all queries/calls from employees and Suppliers regarding the invoices payment and the accrual preparation;
Follow up with suppliers regarding invoices, Purchase orders and Statement of accounts for reconciliation and prepare the monthly reconciliations for different key suppliers and provide analysis on supplier’s figures and status of payment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree level in a financial or accounting discipline, as well as:
Proven experience with procurement and accounts payable process.
