Job Summary: The Senior Manager - Learning and Development is responsible for planning, monitoring and execution of the Learning and Development program. This position will work closely with the Apprenticeship and Emiratisation Project Leader.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Head of Engagement, Training & Internal Communication in building a training budget and calendar for Expo2020 workforce;
Support the function head the implementation of the training calendar, with ongoing reviews to ensure dynamic and evolving needs are met;
Conduct Training Needs Analysis using a variety of methodologies to determine specific training needs for Expo 2020 workforce;
Design and develop dynamic training programs and modules required to meet business needs and objectives;
Deliver training programs, including Induction, soft skills and leadership programs in line with the training calendar;
Coach and guide employees on a one on one basis from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
8 + years’ experience in training across the full training cycle as well as:
A Bachelor's degree in relevant field;
Demonstrated ability to deliver training programs at all levels including Leadership Training to Director Level;
Strong facilitation skills, with training qualification (e.g. MTA/Lego Business etc);
Demonstrated ability in Instructional Design;
A recognised training qualification – CIPD or City & Guilds or equivalent Mega-event training experience.
